I'm an old school radio chick turned union voice talent, and audio producer.

I married the only perfect man left (sorry girls) and have 4 incredible kids, 1 monster yellow lab, a mut, a cat and a turtle.)

Two Minutes

...that's all it takes. Lately God's been asking me 'when's the last time you actually stopped what you're doing to pray for someone?' In response, I've started seeing opportunities all over the place to stop and pray with people. A friend who's marriage is falling apart. Someone who's family member is sick.
   I doubt all the prayer-needin' people just started showing up now. I'm bettin' God's just opening my eyes to see more chances for Him to comfort people through a couple of minutes set aside to pray.
   We Christians are really good at telling people we'll pray for them. Then we get distracted or (if you're me) we forget. The thing is that just stopping to pray with someone when you discover a need not only gets it done, but it can mean so much more to someone who's hurting.
   I've been through some very painful times. A divorce. Family deaths. Medical situations. Things that only God and time could heal. Lots of people said they'd pray for me, but very few ever took two minutes to pray with me. God's been reminding me of how powerful that was in my own life.
   So, who's getting your two minutes today?
