hey guys!! we recently went to the beach (just got back today lol!) and it was awesome!!! we saw huge horseshoe crabs as big as my head and we went to an aquarium and a fish bit me...it had a lot of teeth for such a small creature...lol...there wasnt a " no touching" sign so i stuck my finger in and it jumped out and bit me... hahaha...it hurt though....we went on a riverboat tour and saw like 7 alligators...kinda freaky...but im soo glad we're home!!

we recently had our relay for life program at the soccer fields and it was awesome!! i had the best ribs i've ever eaten...but it was really cool because they had a survivors walk and we clapped for all the people that had survived cancer. then, they put candles inside paper bags and lit them up and turned out all the lights and lined the track with the bags...they said in memory of or in support of or in honor of and then a name after it. several of them caught on fire and i saw some people freak out over it but me and my friend thought it was kind of a good thing because that bag could represent life and the bag burning meant the end of it. any bag could have burned up at any moment that night. we dont know when we'll die or who will but it will eventually happen so we dont need to worry about the little things but enjoy ourselves and serve god as long as we can no matter what. those bags served as a symbol of the survivors and some victims of cancer and the bags that burned represented them until the very last minute of their paper lives...just like we should...=D

hmmmm...well we're back from our trip, i have a sunburn, and there is absolutely nothin 2 do....but it could b worse...

when we get bored or start writing invites 4 a pity party we should think about all the kids in africa who are starving or dying. the ones who wake up every day not knowing whether or not they'll live or who else is gonna die. the ones who PLAY with trash and use flattened water bottles for shoes. the ones whose parents have to cheat and steal to keep their families alive. and especially the ones who dont know God. recently a preacher who lives in tanzania (africa) came to one of our churches. he stayed here for a while and then went back to start building a church in his hometown and preach in africa. he gave thousands of people the opportunity to know God and be saved. even if they live through all the stuff i just said, knowing, and believing, and having faith in God can lift a huge burden off those peoples' backs. i realize how blessed i am by just being able to go to church and hear God's word. if u want more info give me a different e-mail address and i'll send u some info and pics about how much we eat compared to how much people in africa and other places eat...its surprising.... hallelujiah!! SATs r over!! i think i did pretty good and we're goin on our trip this weekend and we'll b back sunday. i'm soooo excited but we'll b travelin 4 8 hours then we'll go over a 3 mile long bridge and a ferry @ some point...and im kinda scared....but thats ok cuz theres awesome stuff there and a beach!!! so pray 4 me and my family this weekend and every1 have a good weekend!!

well the SATS r comin up and i'm dreadin them...not so much the tests themselves but the boredom of waitin 4 the time 2 b over...ugh!!! we have ARMT this week and SATs next week...pray 4 me!!! we'll also b goin 2 dauphin island next week and we'll b travelin a lot so pray 4 me and my family then too......and our church is buildin a new lunch room and about to ordain a deacon....lots of stuff 2 pray bout but thats a good thing soooo....well thats all.

ok so next week ...or this week...is SPRING BREAK!!!! i cant wait even though we have nothin to do...but thats ok.

Camp McDowell was sooooo awesome we went on a night hike and a day hike and we waded in a pond and a stream and i caught a lot of stuff. and at the end of every meal we weighed all the leftover food and by our last meal we had 0 lbs of food waste. we got nametags made out of wood and we learned how to build shelters out of scratch. those pics should be on my profile...the counselors were really funny too and thats all.
